Deut.30.1

And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

Deut.30.1

Here's what will happen. While you're out among the nations where GOD has dispersed you and the blessings and curses come in just the way I have set them before you, and you and your children take them seriously

Deut.30.1

When all these blessings and curses I have set before you come upon you and you take them to heart wherever the LORD your God disperses you among the nations,

Deut.30.1

"Now it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the LORD your God drives you,

Deut.30.1

"Suppose all these things happen to you--the blessings and the curses I have listed--and you meditate on them as you are living among the nations to which the LORD your God has exiled you.

Deut.30.2

And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

Deut.30.2

and come back to GOD, your God, and obey him with your whole heart and soul according to everything that I command you today,

and when you and your children return to the LORD your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today,

Deut.30.2

and you return to the LORD your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul,

Deut.30.2

If at that time you return to the LORD your God, and you and your children begin wholeheartedly to obey all the commands I have given you today,

Deut.30.3

That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

Deut.30.3

GOD, your God, will restore everything you lost; he'll have compassion on you; he'll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered.

Deut.30.3

then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you.

Deut.30.3

that the LORD your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where the LORD your God has scattered you.

Deut.30.3

then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes. He will have mercy on you and gather you back from all the nations where he has scattered you.

Deut.30.4

If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

Deut.30.4

No matter how far away you end up, GOD, your God, will get you out of there

Deut.30.4

Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the LORD your God will gather you and bring you back.

Deut.30.4

If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you.

Deut.30.4

Though you are at the ends of the earth, the LORD your God will go and find you and bring you back again.

Deut.30.5

And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

Deut.30.5

and bring you back to the land your ancestors once possessed. It will be yours again. He will give you a good life and make you more numerous than your ancestors.

Deut.30.5

He will bring you to the land that belonged to your fathers, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers.

Deut.30.5

Then the LORD your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.

Deut.30.5

He will return you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will possess that land again. He will make you even more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors!

Deut.30.6

And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Deut.30.6

GOD, your God, will cut away the thick calluses on your heart and your children's hearts, freeing you to love GOD, your God, with your whole heart and soul and live, really live.

Deut.30.6

The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.

Deut.30.6

And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

Deut.30.6

"The LORD your God will cleanse your heart and the hearts of all your descendants so that you will love him with all your heart and soul, and so you may live!

Deut.30.7

And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.

Deut.30.7

GOD, your God, will put all these curses on your enemies who hated you and were out to get you.

Deut.30.7

The LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you.

Deut.30.7

"Also the LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.

Deut.30.7

The LORD your God will inflict all these curses on your enemies and persecutors.

Deut.30.8

And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

Deut.30.8

And you will make a new start, listening obediently to GOD, keeping all his commandments that I'm commanding you today.

Deut.30.8

You will again obey the LORD and follow all his commands I am giving you today.

Deut.30.8

And you will again obey the voice of the LORD and do all His commandments which I command you today.

Deut.30.8

Then you will again obey the LORD and keep all the commands I am giving you today.

Deut.30.9

And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:

Deut.30.9

GOD, your God, will outdo himself in making things go well for you: you'll have babies, get calves, grow crops, and enjoy an all-around good life. Yes, GOD will start enjoying you again, making things go well for you just as he enjoyed doing it for your ancestors.

Deut.30.9

Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your fathers,

Deut.30.9

The LORD your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good. For the LORD will again rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers,

Deut.30.9

The LORD your God will make you successful in everything you do. He will give you many children and numerous livestock, and your fields will produce abundant harvests, for the LORD will delight in being good to you as he was to your ancestors.

Deut.30.10

If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

Deut.30.10

But only if you listen obediently to GOD, your God, and keep the commandments and regulations written in this Book of Revelation. Nothing halfhearted here; you must return to GOD, your God, totally, heart and soul, holding nothing back.

Deut.30.10

if you obey the LORD your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. The Offer of Life or Death

Deut.30.10

if you obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Deut.30.10

The LORD your God will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and laws written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and soul.

Deut.30.11

For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

Deut.30.11

This commandment that I'm commanding you today isn't too much for you, it's not out of your reach.

Deut.30.11

Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.

Deut.30.11

"For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off.

Deut.30.11

"This command I am giving you today is not too difficult for you to understand or perform.

Deut.30.12

It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

Deut.30.12

It's not on a high mountain--you don't have to get mountaineers to climb the peak and bring it down to your level and explain it before you can live it.

Deut.30.12

It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, "Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?"

Deut.30.12

It is not in heaven, that you should say, "Who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?'

Deut.30.12

It is not up in heaven, so distant that you must ask, `Who will go to heaven and bring it down so we can hear and obey it?'

Deut.30.13

Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

Deut.30.13

And it's not across the ocean--you don't have to send sailors out to get it, bring it back, and then explain it before you can live it.

Deut.30.13

Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, "Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?"

Deut.30.13

Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, "Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?'

Deut.30.13

It is not beyond the sea, so far away that you must ask, `Who will cross the sea to bring it to us so we can hear and obey it?'

Deut.30.14

But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Deut.30.14

No. The word is right here and now--as near as the tongue in your mouth, as near as the heart in your chest. Just do it!

Deut.30.14

No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.

Deut.30.14

But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.

Deut.30.14

The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it.

Deut.30.15

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

Deut.30.15

Look at what I've done for you today: I've placed in front of you Life and Good Death and Evil.

Deut.30.15

See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction.

Deut.30.15

"See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil,

Deut.30.15

"Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between prosperity and disaster, between life and death.

Deut.30.16

In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Deut.30.16

And I command you today: Love GOD, your God. Walk in his ways. Keep his commandments, regulations, and rules so that you will live, really live, live exuberantly, blessed by GOD, your God, in the land you are about to enter and possess.

Deut.30.16

For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

Deut.30.16

in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.

Deut.30.16

I have commanded you today to love the LORD your God and to keep his commands, laws, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and become a great nation, and the LORD your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy.

Deut.30.17

But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

Deut.30.17

But I warn you: If you have a change of heart, refuse to listen obediently, and willfully go off to serve and worship other gods,

Deut.30.17

But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them,

Deut.30.17

But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them,

Deut.30.17

But if your heart turns away and you refuse to listen, and if you are drawn away to serve and worship other gods,

Deut.30.18

I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

Deut.30.18

you will most certainly die. You won't last long in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.

Deut.30.18

I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.

Deut.30.18

I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess.

Deut.30.18

then I warn you now that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live a long, good life in the land you are crossing the Jordan to occupy.

Deut.30.19

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Deut.30.19

I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today: I place before you Life and Death, Blessing and Curse. Choose life so that you and your children will live.

Deut.30.19

This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live

Deut.30.19

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

Deut.30.19

"Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live!

Deut.30.20

That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Deut.30.20

And love GOD, your God, listening obediently to him, firmly embracing him. Oh yes, he is life itself, a long life settled on the soil that GOD, your God, promised to give your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Deut.30.20

and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Deut.30.20

that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them."

Deut.30.20

Choose to love the LORD your God and to obey him and commit yourself to him, for he is your life. Then you will live long in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob."
