Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)

"Command the People of Israel. Tell them: When you enter Canaan, these are the borders of the land you are getting as an inheritance:

"Command the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter Canaan, the land that will be allotted to you as an inheritance will have these boundaries:

"Command the children of Israel, and say to them: "When you come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance--the land of Canaan to its boundaries.

"Give these instructions to the Israelites: When you come into the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as your special possession, these will be the boundaries.
Num.34.3
Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:

"Your southern border will take in some of the Wilderness of Zin where it touches Edom. It starts in the east at the Dead Sea,

"'Your southern side will include some of the Desert of Zin along the border of Edom. On the east, your southern boundary will start from the end of the Salt Sea,

Your southern border shall be from the Wilderness of Zin along the border of Edom; then your southern border shall extend eastward to the end of the Salt Sea;

The southern portion of your country will extend from the wilderness of Zin, along the edge of Edom. The southern boundary will begin on the east at the Dead Sea.

And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:

It will then run south past Scorpion Pass in the direction of Zin. Its southernmost point will be Kadesh-barnea, from which it will go to Hazar-addar, and on to Azmon.

And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.

And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.

"'Your western boundary will be the coast of the Great Sea. This will be your boundary on the west.

And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:

"Your northern border runs on a line from the Mediterranean Sea to Mount Hor,

"'For your northern boundary, run a line from the Great Sea to Mount Hor

"And this shall be your northern border: From the Great Sea you shall mark out your border line to Mount Hor;

"Your northern boundary will begin at the Mediterranean Sea and run eastward to Mount Hor,

From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:

and from Mount Hor to Lebo Hamath, connects to Zedad,

and from Mount Hor to Lebo Hamath. Then the boundary will go to Zedad,

from Mount Hor you shall mark out your border to the entrance of Hamath; then the direction of the border shall be toward Zedad;

then to Lebo-hamath, and on through Zedad

And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.

"The eastern boundary will start at Hazar-enan and run south to Shepham,

And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:

The border goes south from Shepham to Riblah to the east of Ain, and continues along the slopes east of the Sea of Galilee.

And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.

The border then follows the Jordan River and ends at the Dead Sea. "This is your land with its four borders."

For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:
