Exod.35.1

And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.

Exod.35.1

Moses spoke to the entire congregation of Israel, saying, "These are the things that GOD has commanded you to do:

Moses assembled the whole Israelite community and said to them, "These are the things the LORD has commanded you to do:

Then Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said to them, "These are the words which the LORD has commanded you to do:

Exod.35.1

Now Moses called a meeting of all the people and told them, "You must obey these instructions from the LORD.

Exod.35.2

Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.

Exod.35.2

"Work six days, but the seventh day will be a holy rest day, GOD's holy rest day. Anyone who works on this day must be put to death.

Exod.35.2

For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

Exod.35.2

Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh day shall be a holy day for you, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.

Exod.35.2

Each week, work for six days only. The seventh day is a day of total rest, a holy day that belongs to the LORD. Anyone who works on that day will die.

Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

Exod.35.3

Don't light any fires in your homes on the Sabbath day."

Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day."

And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,

Then Moses said to all the people, "This is what the LORD has commanded.

Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,

Exod.35.5

"Gather from among you an offering for GOD. Receive on GOD's behalf what everyone is willing to give as an offering: gold, silver, bronze;

Exod.35.5

From what you have, take an offering for the LORD. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the LORD an offering of gold, silver and bronze;

Exod.35.5

"Take from among you an offering to the LORD. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as an offering to the LORD: gold, silver, and bronze;

Exod.35.5

Everyone is invited to bring these offerings to the LORD: gold, silver, and bronze;

Exod.35.6

And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,

Exod.35.6

blue, purple, and scarlet material; fine linen; goats' hair;

blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair;

Exod.35.6

blue, purple, and scarlet thread, fine linen, and goats' hair;

blue, purple, and scarlet yarn; fine linen; goat hair for cloth;

And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,

Exod.35.7

tanned rams' skins; dolphin skins; acacia wood;

Exod.35.7

ram skins dyed red and hides of sea cows; acacia wood;

Exod.35.7

ram skins dyed red, badger skins, and acacia wood;

Exod.35.7

tanned ram skins and fine goatskin leather; acacia wood;

Exod.35.8

And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,

lamp oil; spices for anointing oils and for fragrant incense;

Exod.35.8

olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense;

Exod.35.8

oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense;

olive oil for the lamps; spices for the anointing oil and the fragrant incense;

And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.

And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;

"All who are gifted artisans among you shall come and make all that the LORD has commanded:

"Come, all of you who are gifted craftsmen. Construct everything that the LORD has commanded:

The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,

Exod.35.11

The Dwelling with its tent and cover, its hooks, frames, crossbars, posts, and bases;

Exod.35.11

the tabernacle with its tent and its covering, clasps, frames, crossbars, posts and bases;

the tabernacle, its tent, its covering, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets;

The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,

The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

the official vestments for ministering in the Holy Place, the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest and for his sons serving as priests."

the woven garments worn for ministering in the sanctuary-both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when they serve as priests."

the beautifully stitched clothing for the priests to wear while ministering in the Holy Place; the sacred garments for Aaron and his sons to wear while officiating as priests."

And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

So everyone in the community of Israel left the presence of Moses.

Then the whole Israelite community withdrew from Moses' presence,

And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

So all the people left Moses and went to their tents to prepare their gifts.

Exod.35.21

And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD'S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

Then they came back, every one whose heart was roused, whose spirit was freely responsive, bringing offerings to GOD for building the Tent of Meeting, furnishing it for worship and making the holy vestments.

and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved him came and brought an offering to the LORD for the work on the Tent of Meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments.

Then everyone came whose heart was stirred, and everyone whose spirit was willing, and they brought the LORD's offering for the work of the tabernacle of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments.

If their hearts were stirred and they desired to do so, they brought to the LORD their offerings of materials for the Tabernacle and its furnishings and for the holy garments.

Exod.35.22

And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.

They came, both men and women, all the willing spirits among them, offering brooches, earrings, rings, necklaces--anything made of gold--offering up their gold jewelry to GOD.

Exod.35.22

All who were willing, men and women alike, came and brought gold jewelry of all kinds: brooches, earrings, rings and ornaments. They all presented their gold as a wave offering to the LORD.

They came, both men and women, as many as had a willing heart, and brought earrings and nose rings, rings and necklaces, all jewelry of gold, that is, every man who made an offering of gold to the LORD.

Both men and women came, all whose hearts were willing. Some brought to the LORD their offerings of gold--medallions, earrings, rings from their fingers, and necklaces. They presented gold objects of every kind to the LORD.

And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them.

And anyone who had blue, purple, and scarlet fabrics; fine linen; goats' hair; tanned leather; and dolphin skins brought them.

Everyone who had blue, purple or scarlet yarn or fine linen, or goat hair, ram skins dyed red or hides of sea cows brought them.

And every man, with whom was found blue, purple, and scarlet thread, fine linen, goats' hair, red skins of rams, and badger skins, brought them.

Others brought blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, fine linen, or goat hair for cloth. Some gave tanned ram skins or fine goatskin leather.

Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD'S offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.

Everyone who wanted to offer up silver or bronze as a gift to GOD brought it. Everyone who had acacia wood that could be used in the work, brought it.

Those presenting an offering of silver or bronze brought it as an offering to the LORD, and everyone who had acacia wood for any part of the work brought it.

Everyone who offered an offering of silver or bronze brought the LORD's offering. And everyone with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service, brought it.

Exod.35.24

Others brought silver and bronze objects as their offering to the LORD. And those who had acacia wood brought it.

Exod.35.25

And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.

All the women skilled at weaving brought their weavings of blue and purple and scarlet fabrics and their fine linens.

Every skilled woman spun with her hands and brought what she had spun-blue, purple or scarlet yarn or fine linen.

All the women who were gifted artisans spun yarn with their hands, and brought what they had spun, of blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.

All the women who were skilled in sewing and spinning prepared blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine linen cloth, and they brought them in.

And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair.

Exod.35.26

And all the women who were gifted in spinning, spun the goats' hair.

And all the women who were willing and had the skill spun the goat hair.

Exod.35.26

And all the women whose hearts stirred with wisdom spun yarn of goats' hair.

Exod.35.26

All the women who were willing used their skills to spin and weave the goat hair into cloth.

Exod.35.27

And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

The leaders brought onyx and other precious stones for setting in the Ephod and the Breastpiece.

The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

Every man and woman in Israel whose heart moved them freely to bring something for the work that GOD through Moses had commanded them to make, brought it, a voluntary offering for GOD.

All the Israelite men and women who were willing brought to the LORD freewill offerings for all the work the LORD through Moses had commanded them to do.

The children of Israel brought a freewill offering to the LORD, all the men and women whose hearts were willing to bring material for all kinds of work which the LORD, by the hand of Moses, had commanded to be done.

So the people of Israel--every man and woman who wanted to help in the work the LORD had given them through Moses--brought their offerings to the LORD.

And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

Exod.35.30

Moses told the Israelites, "See, GOD has selected Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

Then Moses said to the Israelites, "See, the LORD has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,

Exod.35.30

And Moses said to the children of Israel, "See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

Exod.35.30

And Moses told them, "The LORD has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

Exod.35.31

And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

Exod.35.31

He's filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and know-how for making all sorts of things,

Exod.35.31

and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts-

Exod.35.31

and He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and understanding, in knowledge and all manner of workmanship,

Exod.35.31

The LORD has filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, intelligence, and skill in all kinds of crafts.

Exod.35.32

And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

Exod.35.32

to design and work in gold, silver, and bronze;

Exod.35.32

to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze,

Exod.35.32

to design artistic works, to work in gold and silver and bronze,

Exod.35.32

He is able to create beautiful objects from gold, silver, and bronze.

Exod.35.33

And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.

to carve stones and set them; to carve wood, working in every kind of skilled craft.

to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic craftsmanship.

in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of artistic workmanship.

Exod.35.33

He is skilled in cutting and setting gemstones and in carving wood. In fact, he has every necessary skill.

Exod.35.34

And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

And he's also made him a teacher, he and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

Exod.35.34

And he has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others.

Exod.35.34

"And He has put in his heart the ability to teach, in him and Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

Exod.35.34

And the LORD has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others.

Exod.35.35

Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.

He's gifted them with the know-how needed for carving, designing, weaving, and embroidering in blue, purple, and scarlet fabrics, and in fine linen. They can make anything and design anything.

Exod.35.35

He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as craftsmen, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers-all of them master craftsmen and designers.

Exod.35.35

He has filled them with skill to do all manner of work of the engraver and the designer and the tapestry maker, in blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine linen, and of the weaver--those who do every work and those who design artistic works.

Exod.35.35

The LORD has given them special skills as jewelers, designers, weavers, and embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn on fine linen cloth. They excel in all the crafts needed for the work.
