Ps.108.1

O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

I'm ready, God, so ready, ready from head to toe. Ready to sing, ready to raise a God--song:

My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul.

Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

I'm thanking you, GOD, out in the streets, singing your praises in town and country.

I will thank you, LORD, in front of all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations.

For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.

The deeper your love, the higher it goes; every cloud's a flag to your faithfulness.

For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

For Your mercy is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the clouds.

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

Soar high in the skies, O God! Cover the whole earth with your glory!

Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth.

That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

And for the sake of the one you love so much, reach down and help me--answer me!

Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.

Use your strong right arm to save me, and rescue your beloved people.

God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

That's when God spoke in holy splendor: "Brimming over with joy, I make a present of Shechem, I hand out Succoth Valley as a gift.

God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Succoth.

God has spoken in His holiness: "I will rejoice; I will divide Shechem And measure out the Valley of Succoth.

God has promised this by his holiness: "I will divide up Shechem with joy. I will measure out the valley of Succoth.

Ps.108.8

Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

Ps.108.8

Gilead's in my pocket, to say nothing of Manasseh. Ephraim's my hard hat, Judah my hammer.

Ps.108.8

Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter.

Ps.108.8

Gilead is Mine; Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet for My head; Judah is My lawgiver.

Ps.108.8

Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine. Ephraim will produce my warriors, and Judah will produce my kings.

Ps.108.9

Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

Ps.108.9

Moab's a scrub bucket--I mop the floor with Moab, Spit on Edom, rain fireworks all over Philistia."

Moab is my washbasin, upon Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph."

Moab is My washpot; Over Edom I will cast My shoe; Over Philistia I will triumph."

Ps.108.9

Moab will become my lowly servant, and Edom will be my slave. I will shout in triumph over the Philistines."

Ps.108.10

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

Ps.108.10

Who will take me to the thick of the fight? Who'll show me the road to Edom?

Ps.108.10

Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?

Ps.108.10

Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom?

But who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will bring me victory over Edom?

Ps.108.11

Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?

Ps.108.11

You aren't giving up on us, are you, God? refusing to go out with our troops?

Ps.108.11

Is it not you, O God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?

Ps.108.11

Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?

Ps.108.11

Have you rejected us, O God? Will you no longer march with our armies?

Ps.108.12

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

Ps.108.12

Give us help for the hard task; human help is worthless.

Ps.108.12

Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless.

Ps.108.12

Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless.

Ps.108.12

Oh, please help us against our enemies, for all human help is useless.

Ps.108.13

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

In God we'll do our very best; he'll flatten the opposition for good. A David prayer
