I am still knocking, Open up!

Rev 3:20- Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

How humble is our Lord Jesus Christ, that He stoop so low to knock at the door of everyone before He comes in. He has always been bleeding and still bleeding when He sees many who has not allow Him to come to their Heart. Every day He knocks and He is still knocking. He won’t break the door of any man before He comes in.That will make Him a thieve if He does. But as a good Shepherd before he comes in, He calls, and His sheep hears His voice.

 

Life without Christ is all vanity! Many have not really come to the realisation of this truth, if not they would have spent more time in casting their treasures in heaven. But some are lost in the cares of lives, they Love the world more than the Father. But what will it profit a man if he gain the whole world but loses his soul in hell? What the world system does is that it will feed the flesh in exchange of the soul.

 

The world system provide a counterfeit blessing from the blessings of God. The blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow to it. The world system blessings may seems big to man, but it can’t give the true joy to his Heart. Though sometimes it provide a counterfeit type, but it can’t still replace the genuine blessing from the Father. Why? The kingdom of God is not in eating nor drinking, but in righteousness, peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost. This three things the world system cannot give you, you cannot buy them with your money!!

 

Righteousness is a nature not given by our works or possession, it is given when we accept the person of Jesus into our Heart as our personal Lord and Saviour. And being righteous makes us to have authority on earth, just like Christ would had if He was in this world. Righteousness is a very powerful commodity in the Spiritual realm, and we have the advantage. It gives us authority, and as Christ say “what we bind on earth will be bind in Heaven.” The world can’t provide that stature to a man, only God can, by the power of the risen Christ. And righteousness give us the power to stand right with the Father.

 

The peace of the Lord that passeth all understanding, is an important aspect of the kingdom of God. If a person is confuse about something, his peace may likely be tempered with, and he's vulnerable to lack of understanding.  But when the Peace of the Lord is in our Heart, we will see peace in the midst of the storm. Have you ever wondered why Jesus was sleeping in the boat, when his disciples where worried about getting out of the storm? The Peace that gives understanding was in Him! That is while He always know what to do, and was not afraid to confront any problem.

 

The Joy of the Lord is our strength. When the devil want to weaken a man he sometimes try to weaken his Joy. Most times when we are weak and God want to strengthen us, He gives us Joy! “Ask that your Joy may be full”. A man that has the Joy of the Lord is always an overcomer, He never give up easily. A joyful person never give up! This kind of Joy is from within and the World can’t give it.

 

Jesus Christ still knocks at the heart of many who haven’t open up to Him. Truly, He want to help us, but can’t do that unless we surrender to Him. It’s not too late to accept Jesus Christ now and let Him transform your life.
