Ps.43.1

Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

Clear my name, God; stick up for me against these loveless, immoral people. Get me out of here, away from these lying degenerates.

Vindicate me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; rescue me from deceitful and wicked men.

O God, take up my cause! Defend me against these ungodly people. Rescue me from these unjust liars.

Ps.43.2

For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

Ps.43.2

I counted on you, God. Why did you walk out on me? Why am I pacing the floor, wringing my hands over these outrageous people?

Ps.43.2

You are God my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?

Ps.43.2

For You are the God of my strength; Why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

Ps.43.2

For you are God, my only safe haven. Why have you tossed me aside? Why must I wander around in darkness, oppressed by my enemies?

Ps.43.3

O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

Give me your lantern and compass, give me a map, So I can find my way to the sacred mountain, to the place of your presence,

Send forth your light and your truth, let them guide me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell.

Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.

Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

To enter the place of worship, meet my exuberant God, Sing my thanks with a harp, magnificent God, my God.

Then will I go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight. I will praise you with the harp, O God, my God.

Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.

There I will go to the altar of God, to God--the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God!

Ps.43.5

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God--soon I'll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He's my God. A psalm of the sons of Korah

Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

Why am I discouraged? Why so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again--my Savior and my God!
