Ps.32.1

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Count yourself lucky, how happy you must be--you get a fresh start, your slate's wiped clean.

Oh, what joy for those whose rebellion is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!

Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

Count yourself lucky--GOD holds nothing against you and you're holding nothing back from him.

Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.

Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.

Yes, what joy for those whose record the LORD has cleared of sin, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

When I kept it all inside, my bones turned to powder, my words became daylong groans.

When I refused to confess my sin, I was weak and miserable, and I groaned all day long.

For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

The pressure never let up; all the juices of my life dried up.

For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Selah

For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer.Selah

Ps.32.4

Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat.

Ps.32.5

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

Ps.32.5

Then I let it all out; I said, "I'll make a clean breast of my failures to GOD." Suddenly the pressure was gone--my guilt dissolved, my sin disappeared.

Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD "- and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah

Ps.32.5

I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD," And You forgave the iniquity of my sin.Selah

Ps.32.5

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, "I will confess my rebellion to the LORD." And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

Ps.32.6

For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

These things add up. Every one of us needs to pray; when all hell breaks loose and the dam bursts we'll be on high ground, untouched.

Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you while you may be found; surely when the mighty waters rise, they will not reach him.

For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him.

Therefore, let all the godly confess their rebellion to you while there is time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

Ps.32.7

GOD's my island hideaway, keeps danger far from the shore, throws garlands of hosannas around my neck.

You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah

You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.Selah

Ps.32.7

For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.

Ps.32.8

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Ps.32.8

Let me give you some good advice; I'm looking you in the eye and giving it to you straight:

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.

Ps.32.8

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Ps.32.8

The LORD says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.

Ps.32.9

Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

Ps.32.9

"Don't be ornery like a horse or mule that needs bit and bridle to stay on track."

Ps.32.9

Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.

Ps.32.9

Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.

Ps.32.9

Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control."

Ps.32.10

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

Ps.32.10

God--defiers are always in trouble; GOD-affirmers find themselves loved every time they turn around.

Ps.32.10

Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him.

Ps.32.10

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him.

Ps.32.10

Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the LORD.

Ps.32.11

Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Ps.32.11

Celebrate GOD. Sing together--everyone! All you honest hearts, raise the roof!

Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!

Ps.32.11

Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

Ps.32.11

So rejoice in the LORD and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!
