Ps.30.8

I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

I called out to you, GOD; I laid my case before you:

To you, O LORD, I called; to the Lord I cried for mercy:

I cried out to You, O LORD; And to the LORD I made supplication:

Ps.30.8

I cried out to you, O LORD. I begged the Lord for mercy, saying,

Ps.30.9

What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

Ps.30.9

"Can you sell me for a profit when I'm dead? auction me off at a cemetery yard sale? When I'm "dust to dust' my songs and stories of you won't sell.

Ps.30.9

"What gain is there in my destruction, in my going down into the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness?

Ps.30.9

"What profit is there in my blood, When I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth?

Ps.30.9

"What will you gain if I die, if I sink down into the grave? Can my dust praise you from the grave? Can it tell the world of your faithfulness?

Ps.30.10

Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.

Ps.30.10

So listen! and be kind! Help me out of this!"

Hear, O LORD, and be merciful to me; O LORD, be my help."

Hear, O LORD, and have mercy on me; LORD, be my helper!"

Hear me, LORD, and have mercy on me. Help me, O LORD."

Ps.30.11

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

You did it: you changed wild lament into whirling dance; You ripped off my black mourning band and decked me with wildflowers.

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,

Ps.30.11

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,

Ps.30.11

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy,

Ps.30.12

To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

I'm about to burst with song; I can't keep quiet about you. GOD, my God, I can't thank you enough.

Ps.30.12

that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.

To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
