Action, they say, speaks louder than voice. This axiom aptly applies to Mordecai the Jew, whom Haman the enemy of the Jews, had planned to eliminate but his deeds advertised him before the king. Unknown to Mordecai, the good he did some years back was on record and would speak for him to preserve his life and those of the Jews in Shushan.

As a child of God be careful about what you do, either good or bad, for it is going on record before God for the day of assessment. There are several youths in the Bible whose deeds really advertised. One of them is Joseph who lived a righteous life and interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh’s servants even in prison. This dream interpretation was the deed that advertised him before Pharaoh to make him the Prime Minister of Egypt. Another youth is Ruth whose deeds made her become the progenitor of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
