What a beautiful thing, GOD, to give thanks, to sing an anthem to you, the High God!

It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening,

Accompanied by dulcimer and harp, the full-bodied music of strings.

to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp.

On an instrument of ten strings, On the lute, And on the harp, With harmonious sound.

accompanied by the harp and lute and the harmony of the lyre.

You made me so happy, GOD. I saw your work and I shouted for joy.

For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the works of your hands.

For You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.

You thrill me, LORD, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done.

How magnificent your work, GOD! How profound your thoughts!

How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts!

O LORD, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.

O LORD, what great miracles you do! And how deep are your thoughts.

Dullards never notice what you do; fools never do get it.

Ps.92.6

The senseless man does not know, fools do not understand,

Ps.92.6

A senseless man does not know, Nor does a fool understand this.

Only an ignorant person would not know this! Only a fool would not understand it.

Ps.92.7

When the wicked popped up like weeds and all the evil men and women took over, You mowed them down, finished them off once and for all.

that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be forever destroyed.

When the wicked spring up like grass, And when all the workers of iniquity flourish, It is that they may be destroyed forever.

Although the wicked flourish like weeds, and evildoers blossom with success, there is only eternal destruction ahead of them.

Ps.92.8

You, GOD, are High and Eternal.

But you, O LORD, are exalted forever.

But You, LORD, are on high forevermore.

But you are exalted in the heavens. You, O LORD, continue forever.

Ps.92.9

Look at your enemies, GOD! Look at your enemies--ruined! Scattered to the winds, all those hirelings of evil!

For surely your enemies, O LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.

For behold, Your enemies, O LORD, For behold, Your enemies shall perish; All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

Your enemies, LORD, will surely perish; all evildoers will be scattered.

But you've made me strong as a charging bison, you've honored me with a festive parade.

You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured upon me.

But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.

But you have made me as strong as a wild bull. How refreshed I am by your power!

The sight of my critics going down is still fresh, the rout of my malicious detractors. My ears are filled with the sounds of promise:

My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.

My eye also has seen my desire on my enemies; My ears hear my desire on the wicked Who rise up against me.

With my own eyes I have seen the downfall of my enemies; with my own ears I have heard the defeat of my wicked opponents.

Ps.92.12

"Good people will prosper like palm trees, Grow tall like Lebanon cedars;

Ps.92.12

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;

Ps.92.12

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Ps.92.12

But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon.

Ps.92.13

transplanted to GOD's courtyard, They'll grow tall in the presence of God,

Ps.92.13

planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.

Ps.92.13

Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Ps.92.13

For they are transplanted into the LORD's own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.

Ps.92.14

lithe and green, virile still in old age."

Ps.92.14

They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green,

Ps.92.14

They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,

Ps.92.14

Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.

Ps.92.15

Such witnesses to upright GOD! My Mountain, my huge, holy Mountain!

proclaiming, "The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him."

Ps.92.15

To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

Ps.92.15

They will declare, "The LORD is just! He is my rock! There is nothing but goodness in him!"
