Train me, GOD, to walk straight; then I'll follow your true path. Put me together, one heart and mind; then, undivided, I'll worship in joyful fear.

You've always been great toward me--what love! You snatched me from the brink of disaster!

For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave.

For great is Your mercy toward me, And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.

for your love for me is very great. You have rescued me from the depths of death!

God, these bullies have reared their heads! A gang of thugs is after me--and they don't care a thing about you.

The arrogant are attacking me, O God; a band of ruthless men seeks my life- men without regard for you.

O God, the proud have risen against me, And a mob of violent men have sought my life, And have not set You before them.

Ps.86.14

O God, insolent people rise up against me; violent people are trying to kill me. And you mean nothing to them.

But you, O God, are both tender and kind, not easily angered, immense in love, and you never, never quit.

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

But you, O Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to get angry, full of unfailing love and truth.

So look me in the eye and show kindness, give your servant the strength to go on, save your dear, dear child!

Turn to me and have mercy on me; grant your strength to your servant and save the son of your maidservant.

Give me a sign of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, O LORD, have helped me and comforted me.
