Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.

Listen, Shepherd, Israel's Shepherd--get all your Joseph sheep together. Throw beams of light from your dazzling throne

Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.

Ps.80.2

So Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh can see where they're going. Get out of bed--you've slept long enough! Come on the run before it's too late.

Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

God, come back! Smile your blessing smile: That will be our salvation.

O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

GOD, God of the angel armies, how long will you smolder like a sleeping volcano while your people call for fire and brimstone?

O LORD God Almighty, how long will your anger smolder against the prayers of your people?

O LORD God of hosts, How long will You be angry Against the prayer of Your people?

O LORD God Almighty, how long will you be angry and reject our prayers?

Ps.80.5

Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.

Ps.80.5

You put us on a diet of tears, bucket after bucket of salty tears to drink.

Ps.80.5

You have fed them with the bread of tears; you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.

Ps.80.5

You have fed them with the bread of tears, And given them tears to drink in great measure.

You have fed us with sorrow and made us drink tears by the bucketful.

Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.

You make us look ridiculous to our friends; our enemies poke fun day after day.

You have made us a source of contention to our neighbors, and our enemies mock us.

You have made us the scorn of neighboring nations. Our enemies treat us as a joke.
