Ps.75.1

Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

Ps.75.1

We thank you, God, we thank you--your Name is our favorite word; your mighty works are all we talk about.

Ps.75.1

We give thanks to you, O God, we give thanks, for your Name is near; men tell of your wonderful deeds.

Ps.75.1

We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.

Ps.75.1

We thank you, O God! We give thanks because you are near. People everywhere tell of your mighty miracles.

Ps.75.2

When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

Ps.75.2

You say, "I'm calling this meeting to order, I'm ready to set things right.

Ps.75.2

You say, "I choose the appointed time; it is I who judge uprightly.

Ps.75.2

"When I choose the proper time, I will judge uprightly.

Ps.75.2

God says, "At the time I have planned, I will bring justice against the wicked.

Ps.75.3

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

Ps.75.3

When the earth goes topsy-turvy And nobody knows which end is up, I nail it all down, I put everything in place again.

Ps.75.3

When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm. Selah

Ps.75.3

The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved; I set up its pillars firmly.Selah

Ps.75.3

When the earth quakes and its people live in turmoil, I am the one who keeps its foundations firm.

Ps.75.4

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

Ps.75.4

I say to the smart alecks, "That's enough,' to the bullies, "Not so fast.'"

Ps.75.4

To the arrogant I say, 'Boast no more,' and to the wicked, 'Do not lift up your horns.

Ps.75.4

"I said to the boastful, "Do not deal boastfully,' And to the wicked, "Do not lift up the horn.

Ps.75.4

"I warned the proud, `Stop your boasting!' I told the wicked, `Don't raise your fists!

Ps.75.5

Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

Ps.75.5

Don't raise your fist against High God. Don't raise your voice against Rock of Ages.

Ps.75.5

Do not lift your horns against heaven; do not speak with outstretched neck.'"

Do not lift up your horn on high; Do not speak with a stiff neck."'

Don't lift your fists in defiance at the heavens or speak with rebellious arrogance.'"

Ps.75.6

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

Ps.75.6

He's the One from east to west; from desert to mountains, he's the One.

Ps.75.6

No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt a man.

Ps.75.6

For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south.

Ps.75.6

For no one on earth--from east or west, or even from the wilderness--can raise another person up.

Ps.75.7

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Ps.75.7

God rules: he brings this one down to his knees, pulls that one up on her feet.

Ps.75.7

But it is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.

Ps.75.7

But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.

Ps.75.7

It is God alone who judges; he decides who will rise and who will fall.

Ps.75.8

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

Ps.75.8

GOD has a cup in his hand, a bowl of wine, full to the brim. He draws from it and pours; it's drained to the dregs. Earth's wicked ones drink it all, drink it down to the last bitter drop!

Ps.75.8

In the hand of the LORD is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, And the wine is red; It is fully mixed, and He pours it out; Surely its dregs shall all the wicked of the earth Drain and drink down.

Ps.75.8

For the LORD holds a cup in his hand; it is full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours the wine out in judgment, and all the wicked must drink it, draining it to the dregs.

Ps.75.9

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

Ps.75.9

And I'm telling the story of God Eternal, singing the praises of Jacob's God.

As for me, I will declare this forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob.

But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

Ps.75.9

But as for me, I will always proclaim what God has done; I will sing praises to the God of Israel.

Ps.75.10

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

The fists of the wicked are bloody stumps, The arms of the righteous are lofty green branches. An Asaph psalm

Ps.75.10

I will cut off the horns of all the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.

Ps.75.10

"All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, But the horns of the righteous shall be exalted."

Ps.75.10

For God says, "I will cut off the strength of the wicked, but I will increase the power of the godly."
