LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

GOD, I'm not trying to rule the roost, I don't want to be king of the mountain. I haven't meddled where I have no business or fantasized grandiose plans.

My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.

LORD, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me.

LORD, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I don't concern myself with matters too great or awesome for me.

Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

I've kept my feet on the ground, I've cultivated a quiet heart. Like a baby content in its mother's arms, my soul is a baby content.

But I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

But I have stilled and quieted myself, just as a small child is quiet with its mother. Yes, like a small child is my soul within me.

Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

Wait, Israel, for GOD. Wait with hope. Hope now; hope always!

Ps.131.3

O Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.

O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.
