A pilgrim song of David. When they said, "Let's go to the house of GOD," my heart leaped for joy.

The city to which the tribes ascend, all GOD's tribes go up to worship, To give thanks to the name of GOD- this is what it means to be Israel.

That is where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to praise the name of the LORD according to the statute given to Israel.

All the people of Israel--the LORD's people--make their pilgrimage here. They come to give thanks to the name of the LORD as the law requires.

Thrones for righteous judgment are set there, famous David-thrones.
