He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

The moon keeps track of the seasons, the sun is in charge of each day.

Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

What a wildly wonderful world, GOD! You made it all, with Wisdom at your side, made earth overflow with your wonderful creations.

How many are your works, O LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.

O LORD, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions--

So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

Oh, look--the deep, wide sea, brimming with fish past counting, sardines and sharks and salmon.

There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number- living things both large and small.

There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

Ships plow those waters, and Leviathan, your pet dragon, romps in them.

There the ships go to and fro, and the leviathan, which you formed to frolic there.

There the ships sail about; There is that Leviathan Which You have made to play there.

See the ships sailing along, and Leviathan, which you made to play in the sea.

These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

All the creatures look expectantly to you to give them their meals on time.

These all look to you to give them their food at the proper time.

These all wait for You, That You may give them their food in due season.

Every one of these depends on you to give them their food as they need it.

That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

You come, and they gather around; you open your hand and they eat from it.

When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things.

What You give them they gather in; You open Your hand, they are filled with good.

When you supply it, they gather it. You open your hand to feed them, and they are satisfied.

Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

If you turned your back, they'd die in a minute--Take back your Spirit and they die, revert to original mud;

When you hide your face, they are terrified; when you take away their breath, they die and return to the dust.

You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.

Ps.104.29

But if you turn away from them, they panic. When you take away their breath, they die and turn again to dust.

Ps.104.30

Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

Ps.104.30

Send out your Spirit and they spring to life--the whole countryside in bloom and blossom.

Ps.104.30

When you send your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the earth.

Ps.104.30

You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth.

Ps.104.30

When you send your Spirit, new life is born to replenish all the living of the earth.
